Initially, my dealings with the company were good. However, last Saturday, they did not pick my uncle up for his dialysis appointment. He is in a wheelchair, and this is why he needs their services. His caregiver got him up, dressed, and downstairs on time, and they waited and waited. When they called Hart to Heart, they were informed that the company had canceled the ride earlier that morning due to "lack of resources" and had NEGLECTED to call. I had a patient wait for almost 2 hours. They said that because my patient lives in the city that pick up would take longer. The EMTs are very disrespectful. Every time they come late the excuse is that they had an emergency with their last patient. EVERY TIME its the same excuse. It's sad that they are the only company to my knowledge that takes Medicaid insurance and that's why patients chose them over other companies because its free. This transportation has to be the most unreliable people I have ever dealt with I think they do what they want cause they are have a state contract which I really think needs to be revolked until they get it together.
