I would leave no stars if I could . This Is the WORST electric company .
This is the worst run business ever!!! Unlike other "for profit" companys, They know there customers dont have any other choice when it comes to buying electricity so they can charge anything they want and do it well. There is no true level billing option, Yard lights is on a separate bill, low hanging lines (below the 17 that is required), frequent power outages, After 4 years still will not refund my deposit as promised, rude and unknowledgeable employees. Well I dont agree with yall at all I have been with EMC in Elberton for 35 years and I have seen days were I dont have the money an they have worked with me a lot. You know you have to have to pay your light bill and dont wait till it is due just try to put back a few dollars a week an dont spend it. and you will feel better just knowing you have your light bill set a side. So I say give these people a thumb up. an if you have trouble paying go talk to them they will work with you. So smile an have a great day.
