We just had high quality Masland carpet installed in our living room by Harry's Carpets. The workmen were excellent and they moved all the heavier furniture (we cleared out the knick-knacks, lamps, etc). They also moved the television (MOST of the other vendors will not touch ANYTHING electronic, including power recliners!!). The workmanship is perfect and the installers were very willing and cooperative in handling any special requests--courteously. highly recommend this business. The first time we met Harry was when we needed new hardwood floors after some water damage. He came to our house with samples and offered advice and assistance. Several years later when updating the carpeting in the bedrooms, we used Harry's Carpets again. Also a great experience but the carpets failed after about a year due to a manufacturing defect. I thought we were stuck with them but Harry went back to the manufacturer and promised to make it right for us. Fast forward to now and we have ... read more

Harry came highly recommended. I had an emergency on my hands from afar and he was an Angel. We spoke multiple times but he went to see what was needed, sent me a quote, we selected the carpet and paid a deposit. Talked briefly, texted a little and then he took care of business in the way I felt most comfortable. An extremely authentic, wonderful true San Franciscan born & bred with a family in the business. I highly recommended his no fuss, candid warmth and humor. Alison.
