We just returned from visiting a friend. Hospitals often espouse customer service but Columbia VA put it into practice in a big way. One person met me on third floor and when I got off the elevator on 1st floor he was waiting for us . We were escorted from information area to third floor patient room! Well done everyone.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’d actually prefer to give negative stars, but that’s not an option. My husband has been fighting to get treatment for his ptsd with urgency and it’s been nothing but a disaster. We called the crisis line for support only to have my husband berated by the lady who answered and completely ignore what he was saying. Then we contacted his pcm’s nurse who did push with urgency his need. Spoke with a social worker for the same team and she also pushed with urgency his need. However, once we go... read more

These stars are for the amazing ladies working the desk at the White Clinic January 31st. Hoping they are permanent employees there. They didn't just treat me right. They were amazing with everyone they encountered. They know their patients so well it was impressive.

THIS WAS A REFLECTION OF THE DAV, NOT THE VA: I just called the number listed and asked for the DAV & both numbers have rang me back to that operator. That's not good on any level, especially when I need to make a request for a follow-up on a previously submitted claim, as instructed by several V.A. contacts such as my doctor's and case workers. I simply needed guidance and direction and couldn't get a hold of someone directly. Not good! The DAV can do better by us veterans.
