The most awful doctor .prescribes extraneous tests. Terrible bedside manner. Did not get to the bottom of my problem. Made me come back to get my lab results refused to send them to my pcp. He also forged my blood pressure and made it crazy high. I've never had blood pressure problems in my life. When I told him to fix it he said what right do you have looking at the medical chart. Awful wait time, poor bedside manner, but very thorough doctor. This man is a walking machine! He's a little old school but he'll double and triple check everything, knows the ins & outs, and will tell you what you need to hear. He does not beat around the bush, hence, the awful bedside manner, lol but good doctor.
The rudest person who answers the phone. She can't hear and screams at you on top of her lungs. Don't even want to be treated in this office after this.
I went to Dr. Shapiro for nodules on my thyroid. He took unnecessary tests and xrays constantly and i was coming in almost every month for "follow up" and placed me on thyroid medication, eventhough the panel was in normal range. He also told me like all the other comments that I'm pre diabetic. He did not explain things to me, I felt rushed and I had to inform him that I'm not taking anymore tests and when is he going to focus on my thyroid.
