My car has a voltmeter on the dash. It indicated the alternator had failed. I called service told them I thought I needed an alternator left the car with them. They called Said you need a new alternator $1600. I said no thanks I’ll have the car picked up with a tow truck and take it elsewhere. When the tow truck got they impounded my car and said i must pay $130 diagnostic fee. Really, for sitting in the driver seat turning on the ignition and looking at the voltmeter. Ladies and gentlemen that’s a rip.
