I don't see a point in using an insurance broker these days. My rates are constantly going up, they're not shopping around on my behalf, and when it comes time to file a claim, they said "Just call the company yourself, they want to cut out the middleman!"
Well, over the years I have pretty much had one insurance agent. He has helped my family with personal insurance and business insurance. In fact, I am almost certain that all of my extended family and several buddies have moved most if not all of their insurance over to my agent as well. When I need something, he gets it done.
