I bought a Harrisville 40 inch loom in 1985, used. It had been in a garage for a while and after using it one of the leather straps used to lift the harnesses snapped. I called Harrisville on a Monday and they had plastic replacements to me by Thursday. Fast forward 30 years or so and I still have the same loom. While moving it a copy of Helen Bress’s Weaving book fell on one of the warp braces and broke in half. I called on a Friday and described what I needed and believe or not I had it on Monday evening. Had a wonderful visit today! The ladies were so helpful and friendly! The store is just so charming! I will definitely will visit again. They had a wonderful selection.
The shop was so warm and inviting. The workers were all so helpful and generous with their time in answering my many questions. The selection of yarns and other textile items was amazing. I only wish I lived closer so I could visit more often! I will plan a trip again soon.
