I went in to get a smog check. I waited for 30 min before the guy behind the counter rudely said, "Its not happening today bud." I took my truck by the next day and figured I would leave it and to have them call me when it was done. I waited until they were about to close and I called them. My car was finished. It failed do to visual inspections. This place offers poor customer service with long waits. I will never take any car there again.
I can't really express how grateful my husband and myself are to this shop. My hubby was getting ready to leave for a deployment and the last thing we needed was for our 2006 pt to die on us. But like most things, the last thing you need to happen is always the first. Our car was overheating for know apparent reason and the dealership in Bako quoted us $700 plus to test the car and then repair the problem. I went to get a engine diagnostics. I was only person inside and had to wait 10 minutes while guy behind counter did not acknowledge me and proceeded to type on his computer. Then he looked up and said rudely " You wanna smog check". I said no a engine diagnostics. He said rudely "I cant do that for about 2 or 3 days". I said wow I waited 10 minutes for that. Highly recommended repair shop! Our Honda Odyssey died on the 5 freeway and we were towed to Harrison Street Automotive in Taft, CA on a Thursday evening. Rick and the guys at the shop stayed late to do a diagnosis and then they continued on Friday. The challenge in Taft is that they are 30+ miles away from a big city (Bakersfield) where most parts are found.
