About this business

If you are looking for BC hot springs then look no further than the healing hot mineral waters of Harrison Hot Springs, revered as the "healing place" by the local Sts'ailes First Nations for thousands of years before they were found by Europeans in the 1800's. It was later called St. Alice's Well after one of the daughters of British Columbia's first governor. Eventually, the name changed to Harrison Hot Springs, after Benjamin Harrison, a deputy governor of the Hudson's Bay Company from 1835 to 1839. Although the philanthr... read more

The pool is closed even though online it says open and we took 2 hours drive to come to it with 2 babies. It is really bad to close it like this.

I drove there yesterday and it took me almost two hours to get there. I called before driving in the morning and the lifegaurd was sick. So, when we arrived the pool was closed :(. I asked them why they did not post it on google it takes two seconds to do it and they said its complicated. Its not complicated! And they have a lifegu... read more

Public hot springs located in Harrison Hot Springs, BC. Pool hours are posted weekly so I recommend calling ahead of time / planning ahead to visit the hot springs. It's worth it too, the hot springs are indoors and have the feel of an indoor swimming pool. Details you might like to know: - WEEKLY schedule. Call ahead to avoid let downs. - Male/ Female change rooms with open, non-enclosed showers. - Private change stalls with curtain privacy screens. - NO Genderless/ All-Inclusive change room. - NO Family change room. - Wash... read more

Generally pleasant experience when in the water but the facilities needed to be cleaned. Went in early Sunday morning only an hour or so after it opened so in theory it should have been cleaned the night before or that morning but it clearly wasn't. The women's change room had the usual hair on the floor and dirt tracked in on shoes because there wasn't anywhere to leave shoes. Old facilities from when it was built about 1963 and needs a renovation! Take flip flops and shower well!
