Easy and quick load/unload area.
Very friendly folks running the launch. A few things you should know before going. There’s a $25 day launch fee on top of the parking fee. There’s an in lane and an out lane which seems like a good idea except in the AM everyone is putting in and in the PM everyone wants out. This led to long unnecessary lines. These lanes should flex to meet the needs of the flow. If you’re looking for a free launch then travel a few kms up the east Harrison road to Green Point day use area (single lane boat launch)
I have launched here a few times, and it seems it's never possible to do so without being yelled at by the platinum blonde woman who works at the launch. This time, she walked away and her colleague told me it was my turn to go. I double checked as there was someone stopped at the top of the hill, and another vehicle at the water. Awesome lake. The lady who works the boat launch is very rude and aggressive. Trying to micromanage how all the vehicles move and yelling at everyone. Would operate smoother without her.
