Customer service by the front end manager
Pharmacist is a clown. Spoke to them early in the day to get a prescription filled as I was running out and needed my refill- and it had to be transferred from a different pharmacy. They advised it would be filled by the end of the day “no problem” as this was an easy transfer. When I called back 6 hours later to confirm the pharmacist advised he was “bogged down with vaccines all day” and hasn’t called the other pharmacy and couldn’t guarantee he would “get around to it” by today. Transferred my prescriptions here hoping Harris Teeter’s usual high customer service standards would align. However, I was told by a rather rude/patronizing pharmacist that his personal (not state, insurance, or HT) policies prevented him from filling my order until days later when I would be out of the country. No legitimate reasoning was provided. It is unfortunate that I now will not be able to consider Harris Teeter my one stop grocer due to this first pharmacy experience.
