I usually shop elsewhere but I decided to try this HT last week (4/13). I could hear a man over the speaker several times but I couldn’t understand him until the last two announcements. He was notifying customers of closing time and saying ‘please please please’ make your final selection and check out. They charge 8 dollars for a dozen of large eggs! It’s nearly unethical and considered price gouging to take advantage of the shortages from the Coronavirus.
I am giving this location a conditional recommendation. Their service is OK but it is slipping. Today I stopped in to buy a few items and when I got to the front there was one lane open with a very, very long line and after I waited awhile and it became clear they were not going to open another lane I pushed by cart off to the side and walked out and went home empty handed. Shout out to this Harris Teeter for their excellent customer service. I ordered on line a fruit tray and assorted cookie tray to be picked up at 4 pm. When I got there the ordered had not been received. The manager apologized a hundred times and asked if I could come back in 30 minutes. When I came back, fruit tray and cookie tray made. The manager walked me out the door and said you will not be paying for this.
