My husband had a severe reaction to a yellow jacket sting. I called 911 not knowing the area and where to go. The dispatcher was awesome as I was trying to describe where we were. The EMT got there in a couple of minutes, Started working on him and got him stabilized and then transported him to the ER. The EMT's were the best, allowed me to follow then showed me where to park, great because I was unfamiliar with the hospital. I had a reaction from a Yellow Jacket sting while in downtown Sylva. My wife called 911 because my throat was so messed up could barely talk. My tongue was swollen. I would like to thank the 2 EMT’s who arrived within a few minutes. They gave me an epi pin. They took me to the emergency room. the nurse practitioner Joanna and her team took good care of me. My foot is doing better this evening. Thank you all. Y’all rock.
If i could give this hospital zero stars i would....horrible service, had us waiting on a ct results for a cat scan they had not even done and they just dismissed my wife and said we cant figure out whats wrong with you check up with your primary care physician
