Called to see if they had a part I needed, before going. Was on hold for about 25mins. Would have been faster if I just went and looked myself
For fixing things in your home I like going to a locally owned Canadian place first over big box mega stores. Harris Home Hardware is helpful and efficient. When I need something. Especially when its something for part for a home older than 40 years old. Ive been a customer since 2002.
Been holding back from uploading a review, but after some thought, a good owner wants to hear of less than positive customer experiences so improvements can be made. I looked up the parts I needed on the website , ( pt# 3237-627 & 3238-543) to hook up our new barbecue and I drove in to purchase them. After explaining what I wanted to do to a gentlemen at the service desk was told, “ cant’ help you, call Salmon Plumbing”. Owner Kevin Harris is amazing. He didn’t hesitate to help out with a refund. He is super friendly and knows his customers by name. The manager went out of her way to ensure Kevin knew all the details so he could help right away. I will definitely be supporting this business from now on and hope you will too. Great old fashioned family run feel.
The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind! They will never upsell you anything that you don't need.
