Purchased a goose liver pate from this store on 1 Feb 2026. The product had an expiry date of 10 Feb 2026. When I opened it the next day (2 Feb), there was visible mould inside the sealed container. This is a serious food safety issue, especially for a refrigerated, high-risk product. Very disappointing experience.
Very beautiful range of fresh fruit and vegetables that meets you at the entrance. However, quite disappointing further into the store. I am often met with the awful smell of rotting fish towards the meat section. and I have seen insects running across the cutting tables! Also, I would love to buy bones for my dogs, but they never seem to have any. Finally, while I receive lovely service from the butchers and cashiers, the range is very expensive!
I've been shopping at Harris Farm Mosman for over 15 years. It's pricey, but has a good range of products. Fruits and veggies are better quality than other supermarkets. Nice selection of bread, cheese, deli, etc. In my previous review I mentioned regular issues at checkout, such as mispriced items, overcharges, etc. However, HFM has really improved in the past couple of years and is now much more pleasant to shop at.
