I've had high blood pressure for 10 years. It has became uncontrolled by my bp medication that I've been on for some time. Coupled with chest pain and headaches and readings of over 160/110 I knew I needed to see the cardiologist. I also have a strong history of heart issues in my family. My mom died of cardiomegaly at 50; my dad had a major heart attack at 50. I also have bad cholesterol and high triglycerides.
