This bank has no accountability, no clear answers and very poor customer service. When a bank makes it hard for someone just trying to pay off a debt, that's a serious issue. I would not recommend BMO bank.
Do not bother to call to talk to a Person unless you have their direct number. It's not only a nightmare but practically impossible. My call went to offshore call center after going through Phone Tree (Forest) and waiting to talk wth the Local Branch Agent for almost 15 minutes.
Calling the bank from work and have been on hold for several hours. They close at 5 pm and no way can I get there before the holiday to reopen my locked debit card. Other banks never put customers on hold for hours. There may be no representatives available at all.
