I was next in line thinking of purchasin a chain saw...I told them that I was going to purchase a chainsaw but after seeing that and their approach to customer service I had changed my mind. Great Business – I bought a used zero turn from them about a year ago. They were very good to deal with, and I am very happy with the mower. I can not imagine anyone having a bad experience there, as everyone I know deals with them and most have done so for years. They are very knowledgeable about all lawn and garden equipment. Their prices on new equipment are about the same as a box store, but the service is much better. I know they offer great service and quality equipment and would send anyone there.
Terrible,, They ripped me off for \$507.00 on a part for my Zero turn mower! Ill never spend another dollar with Harrinton&Sons in Emmittsburg! Ive recently met their brother who is in no way connected with them, Hes getting ready to open up Harringtons Equipment Sales just north of Emmittsburg in Adams County Pa.,, He is totally a different type of business person & will bend over backwards to help you if you have a problem. They will RIP YOU OFF – Never again! They ripped me off for $507.00 on a part for my zero turn mower.It has less than 6 hrs. on the part & they would not warrant it! Only had it 2 weeks, Now i have their Brother who owns Harrington's service center and is quite a different type of business person, working on fixing Harrington's&Sons screw up! Lost a good customer over a belt! – 8 years going in, have bought belts, parts, serviced our tractor, bought weed whacker, chain saw, Father in law just bought new Cub Cadet, Cousin bought used Mower a year ago both sons go in for parts neighbors go in friends etc, because we recommended this place. I took a stretched deck belt in and asked to replace it. The place to go My husband and I are extremely pleased that Harrington & Sons is so close. We have use them when our chain saw blade breaks or we need another part for our lawn tractor. They are always helpful and almost always have what we need right there. If they don't have it they are great about finding it and ordering. I have gone in to pick up a piece for my husband without enough information and they never make me feel foolish. They work with me and somehow I leave with the correct part my hubby needed.
