Came in with severe pain- didnt recieve any care or help for over 4 hours so I had to leave so I could at least feed myself and take some pain meds from home [better than nothing]- couldnt get comfortable standing or siting or laying. While crying in pain didnt even get asked for pain management even ibuprofen. Didnt take anything since the night before in case something was prescribed or a procedure needed to be done. Now i know why the reviews says to stay away from this place. I literally when in at 10:45am and came out at 11:15am and no results or proper emergency care. They heard my complaints and issues and stated im fine. Im clearly not since my thumb is still numb.‼️ stay away
Leaving the emergency room after not getting any help. After almost 4 hours of waiting, my wife called me crying that nobody is calling her in to be checked out and everyone who was in waiting room (came after her) already went in and left. People kept coming and their name would be called but not my wife’s name. To treat patients or not shouldn’t be an option. I wish this would happen to their loved ones and maybe they will understand that it’s serious .
I came to Harrington ER not long after I was discharged from Harrington APU (Both miserable places). They told me I would have to wait to see a nurse if I wanted a medication I needed to avoid having a seizure. They told me this the first time I came to the ER that day... :) They told me this the second time I came into the same ER that day.... :) I never saw anyone. I left. Twice.
