I had an MRI-guided biopsy with Dr. Harriet Borovsky and her care team, and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. The Women’s Center is awesome. Dr Borofsky is just the sweetest person as was my nurse and ultrasound technician. I was there having a tracker inserted in a lymph node. She had already followed up on my scans in their weekly meeting with breast cancer health professionals and was very enthusiastic about my progress after just one chemo treatment. Dr Borofsky and her team are the people you dream of taking care of you when your health is on the line - experienced, honest, communicative, and compassionate. After being unhappy with another provider/facility, I decided to try the Women's Center at Riverview. After an annual screening and a call back, it was then determined that a biopsy by Dr Borofsky should be scheduled. I absolutely love this doctor. Being told you have cancer is not an easy thing to hear and I’m sure it’s not easy news to have to deliver. I am so grateful that I had Dr Borofsky be the one to tell me because she did it in such a way That gave me hope, strength, and the courage I needed to move forward. She’s just a wonderful human being. I can’t say enough good things about her. I hope Hackensack Meridian realizes what an asset she is to that women’s breast center. I love this doctor.
Dr. B. was kind and caring and professional with my best girlfriend who has a disability and has unfortunately had some bad experiences where people are not patient with her in medical facilities. She was still scared but felt safe and comfortable because of Dr. B.'s caring nature.
