Absolutely love this place, the food, the people, the atmosphere. Sometimes stuff happens with service but to be expected; but I will always be a loyal customer.
This post is for the Managers ( who are on the Floor) Owners, and Staff if they are curious. We have lived for my entire life at 40 years of age in Monmouth and Ocean county. Harpoon Willys has been a hidden location, from you know who during “Benny season”…when we can afford to treat ourselves out. Yesterday 9/6, we walked in and sat at the bar. It was around 4pm. Overall, unbelievable food! I couldn’t stop thinking about the food once I dug my teeth into wings which were clearly ice popsicles 10 minutes earlier. And ahh, the steak was to ABSOLUTELY die for. My ‘Butcher quality’ filet was overcooked and hosed in pepper. Highly recommending going here!
Haven't been here in approx 15 years. It pains me to say anything negative, because everyone is just trying to make it. That being said, the almost twenty-dollar hamburger was well below par. Completely not worth it. I should have taken a picture. The "steak fires" look like a left-over batch. (pic below). Well, you know what they say. But, still, best wishes to youse.
