My husband and I ordered a cheesesteak, chicken parm sub, mozzarella sticks and a kids grilled cheese. The cheesesteak was so bland and the bread was soggy top and bottom. The chicken parm didn’t have much flavor and my husband said it was mushy. This was our first time trying Harpers and I’m not sure if we will try again.
I ended up coming here when doing a few calls before the snow storm. First time here, they just happen to be open on Sunday. I ordered a cheesesteak and Italian sub. They came out ok, the order was correct. I would place this spot above your chain sandwich shops for sure. Where I could see improvement is with quantities and price. I paid about $40 for two sandwiches. Other sandwich shops would have longer rolls and packed alittle heavier for that price. $15/sandwich is about where price would be fair. Large portions but crazy overpriced. $26 for a club sandwich and a side of mac salad. Def looks like they are in the last leg of business as it is always empty
This must have changed hands from the sandwich shop with homemade bread. Gone is the case with different salads and choice of sandwich piled with fresh bread, meat, cheese, and condiments along with a serving of a salad of your choice. The current store has an odor that didn't smell real good and the only menu was hand written and taped to the counter at the register. The seating area was littered with crates and boxes. We left.
The way they advertise the crabs on the radio, I thought they would be good. The man showed me some nice size #2 crabs, but when I got home, they all looked like throw backs🥹. Needless to say, I won't be going back. Very disappointed
