Greetings:) I stopped in at HARPER’S today for a homemade turkey sub, and was out of luck. All the homemade turkey was sold out. So, I thought about it and decided on turkey and cheese sub instead. The sub was delicious and plenty filling. The owner Tony was there and he aims to please, when crab season is in full, I will be going to HARPER’S to check out his crab truck. Nice people and good service. I appreciate great service and food.
My husband and I ordered a cheesesteak, chicken parm sub, mozzarella sticks and a kids grilled cheese. The cheesesteak was so bland and the bread was soggy top and bottom. The chicken parm didn’t have much flavor and my husband said it was mushy. This was our first time trying Harpers and I’m not sure if we will try again.
I ended up coming here when doing a few calls before the snow storm. First time here, they just happen to be open on Sunday. I ordered a cheesesteak and Italian sub. They came out ok, the order was correct. I would place this spot above your chain sandwich shops for sure. Where I could see improvement is with quantities and price. I paid about $40 for two sandwiches. Other sandwich shops would have longer rolls and packed alittle heavier for that price. $15/sandwich is about where price would be fair. Large portions but crazy overpriced. $26 for a club sandwich and a side of mac salad. Def looks like they are in the last leg of business as it is always empty
