Check in person no jokes at all. Had a great time tubing.
One of our tubes punctured and then deflated on the water. We called the main number while standing in water up to our waists. No apology, no offer of a return trip on the house. Instead they sent a guy to come and bring us a replacement tube. He never showed up. After 20 minutes of standing in the middle of the river, we were offered a tube by a passerby and finished the trip. Make a day of it! Bring sun protection, bug spray, all your water toys, pfd’s, sunblock, sunhat, and water shoes. Throw it all in your vehicle and take a day trip to HF! We cookout after we float down the river tethered together. Our tubes have coolers, we stock with ice, snacks and drinks for everyone. Have a day off to cool off! There is limited parking, but we went on a Sunday and $5 parking was available. My first go was a tour on the bus but now we go on our own. Been three times now and will be back next year!
