Love this place. We just got a bookshelf from them. We come to Lancaster for all of our furniture and the prices here are a little better than the other shops we have stopped at.
Best place around, they spend a lot of time with you and make sure you get what you want, don't know what this other guy is talking about, but everything as far as i can see is 100% amish made. He must have bought there a long long time ago.
Watch out for this guy! I ordered a table in maple and it arrived in oak. He had it for almost 2 weeks and never told me it was oak. Even upon pickup he didn't mention it until I specifically asked about it. I assume he wanted to keep the 15% maple differential while trying to pass off the oak table. I took it anyway, with a store credit for the differential. I still got a solid table that looks quite fine where I put it even in oak, but dishonesty gets the low rating. I called and asked if they had a specific piece in stock. This was something shown on their website & I read off the model number & the manufacturer to be sure. He said yes, absolutely, it was on the showroom floor. We drove an hour to get to the store. Not only did he NOT have the item in stock, he said we called it by the wrong name and he doesn't use model numbers. He added that no one wants the piece we were asking for so why on earth would he stock it? Overall quite rude and completely unapologetic for wasting our time.... read more

Three years ago, we moved into a somewhat larger home and wanted to add additional Oak pieces. We visited countless stores in the Christiana area, up & down Route 30, and always came away disappointed. While heading home one weekend (we live about an hours' drive away), we spotted the sign for Harold's Oak House. Harold's has the best selection of Amish furniture around at the best prices. If you don't see exactly what you want, Harold will have it made to your specifications--finish, type of wood, size, whatever! Harold had my dining room suite made in exactly the finish and style I wanted. I now have the best oak dining room furniture! I got exactly what I wanted at about half the price anyone was selling the furniture for anywhere I looked.
