My experience with Harold left a bad taste in my mouth. Felt like a bait and switch. I emailed asking for price range to rebuild some heads for me. I was estimated $200-$400. Told me $400 was if they were pretty messed up. Called me this morning to tell me that only one of my heads needs work and it was going to be almost $700. That's more than what a brand new pair of Vortec heads cost at summit Racing . Now, to get my heads back, I have to pay $75 because they scammed me just to get me to bring my heads in. rebuilt a 2002 camaro and made the mistake of going to a very bad machine shop. it was dirty dusty and just run down. then i went to Harolds and found out what A REAL MACHINE SHOP is suposed to look like. after reassembleing the engine and heads that he also machined the engine ran great! we had problems putting in the pistons (cheap tools) so we brought it back to have the cylinders bored and not only did he do that but he also put in the crank and the pistons for us with the rings. fantastic shop with great customer servic... read more
