Poor- went in on a Saturday and was made to do a urine test. Waited for 3 hours 40m to only be told I’ve wasted my time coming here and needed to urgently go to queens hospital. To top this off, was given a parking fine (even though I entered my registration at the start). Staff were pleasant enough but it’s clearly severely understaffed and needs some changes.
As Bad as can be and even more if it’s possible. Stay here for 2.5 hours now , the stuff on reception are great , the lady in triage great - no one wait for more than 15 minutes and that’s it . The rest is : One of the but r saw 1 repeat ONE patient and other one 4 ( one of the patients she saw probably was her friend of family ) Now I’m here waiting to see nurse and wonder how they feel - walking around with hand in the pockets . Absolutely disgraceful.
We have been waiting here with my child for over four hours. There are not many people in the waiting area, yet others keep being taken in ahead of us with no explanation. Apparently, some fractures are considered “more important” — but if there is a queue, then patients should be seen in order unless it is life-threatening. The whole system feels unfair and disorganized. No one gives any clear information about waiting times, and patients are left sitting for hours with zero updates. I would give the service here a minus if I could! Took my mother who’s in her 70’s to Harold Wood Urgent treatment centre Friday evening as she had been feeling dizzy and loosing her balance. The GP that was on was very rude, condescending, unhelpful and generally made us feel like we were interrupting her evening! She told us that she couldn’t run any tests there, could not refer us or give us any medication….
