People talk to much in this library. I've tried studying in every corner. Been a part of the university on and off(due to health reasons) for over 10 years and study in the library every day for at least 8 hours a day. Been an issue the whole time. People think they can whisper constantly for over an hour, or answer their phone in the middle of a study area, and that it's ok. They have security guards tell people to put away food but no one tells people to be quiet. There are hardly any signs encouraging no noise. Not enough... read more
Borrowed a couple of digital audio recorders for a weekend, forgot to turn them in on Monday. Turns out the late fee is $1.20 per *hour*, not per day. Whoops, silly me is saddled with a $40 late fee. I go up to pay it, and the guy at circulation says, "Well, since this is your first fine, I'll go ahead and waive this." 10/10, would borrow from again.
