This “program” leaves much to be desired. Medical care was mostly through NPs and contact with them was very limited. Detox planning looked generic, not based on the person in front of them. The online photos looked way nicer than the environment we saw. What bothered me most was how staff handled boundaries and safety. Harmony Place has helped me save my life. This facility is beautiful to say the least. The staff is amazing, so kind and helpful at helpful at all times. They have a nursing staff 24/7 that is wonderful. Their chef is amazing. I couldn’t get enough of his cooking. They had great facilitators for their groups, I really got a lot out of them. I really loved my therapist, she did a lot for me. I was able to receive my own personal therapy sessions, which I really got a lot out of. Our daughter was at this facility and kicked out ...I am beyond shocked I am her mother and I could not believe this happened it was midnight...According to explanation the Tech couldn't handle the environment and accused our daughter the patient for her ER panic attack....Mind you your staff must not be trained if they can't handle a situation she did not harm anyone....The patient is already experiencing many emotions us that not what rehabilitation is for to help the patient...I am beyond disbelief!!
Got there with no intention on getting sober from drugs and alcohol. Something happened the minute I was willing to except I was powerless in my addiction and was willing to apply all of the material that they offer u emphasis on willing and open-minded non prejudice totally honest with everything.
