Having come into Harmony two weeks ago from 102 continuous days in the hospital, I feel that this is the best healthcare facility I have ever been served by, and that includes the four major Iowa hospitals and two of the Waterloo Rehabilitation Facilities. The main reason I feel this way is the dedication and commitment displayed by all of the CNAs in caring for all their charges. My son has been in this facility for 6 years and just when you think it can't get any worse, it does. Care was sub-par under ABCM however since Legacy has purchased the facility, this place should be condemned. They're severly under staffed, often using "floaters" to cover multiple wings. The staff they have is inexperienced and they have no training. The employees worth keeping have left due to poor management or have been terminated because they challenged management.
