The therapy team here is great and I am improving a lot with therapies. The staff members here are nice and respectful towards me. They help me when ever I need it. I would recommend this facility to family and friends if they were to ever need extra therapies or even long term care.
I have had a wonderful experience working with Harmony House and their dedicated staff. Their team consistently goes above and beyond to provide compassionate, high-quality care to their residents. im not going to even talk about the care my mother receives here at harmony house, but it would be 10 pages of things you couldnt imagine. i was just informed that this place has bed bugs, and they arent doing ANYTHING about it. we have called state inspection. dont ever bring your loved ones here. if i could give negative stars i would.
My mother still lives here, I am looking for a new place pronto. Since Legacy has taken over EVERYTHING and everyone has changed for the worse. No physical therapy, no therapy, no employees that had been there nearly a decade! Used to be something. Now it's sad EVERY SINGLE time I'm there. I'm almost afraid for the people there. Legacy has taken the food, has taken the pay from employees, have taken what used to make this place awesome.
Having come into Harmony two weeks ago from 102 continuous days in the hospital, I feel that this is the best healthcare facility I have ever been served by, and that includes the four major Iowa hospitals and two of the Waterloo Rehabilitation Facilities. The main reason I feel this way is the dedication and commitment displayed by all of the CNAs in caring for all their charges.
