It was decent. Doctors were knowledgeable. They seemed a little overworked though. I stayed in the ER for over 30 hours and was in there different room 2 of which were not very private, and was still not sent into a room upstairs which was frustrating. The RN that took care of me overnight was attentive and timely. The day shift was much less attentive and didn't administer medication in a timely fashion.

As soon as I entered HMC, I noticed the fresh and pleasing comfort in the lobby. Receptionist was very friendly and easy to talk to. Everyone I had contact and I had a long day, were friendly and easy to talk to. You could tell they enjoyed being there. Their smiles were contagious! 😊

Both the doctor attending my husband , Higinio, and the RN were excellent—professional, and compassionate, even at this late hour. The young men who took the CT Scan were also courteous and attentive. Thank you so much for taking the time to make us feel comfortable and for answering our questions with patience. We continue to rate Harlingen Medical #1.

My trip to the ER went very smoothly. I was placed in a room being treated within 10 minutes of arriving. The staff were very friendly and courteous but most importantly prompt. Best ER experience I’ve had in years

From the ER, to being admitted for several days, to the moment I was discharged, the staff were kind, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. Every member of the team made my stay at the hospital a relatively pleasant one. Also, the food that they served for every meal was very good. I would highly recommend this hospital to any friends or family meeting an inpatient stay.
