My trip to the ER went very smoothly. I was placed in a room being treated within 10 minutes of arriving. The staff were very friendly and courteous but most importantly prompt. Best ER experience I’ve had in years
Went in for a second set of heart stents after 21years. The cardiac nurses and staff, especially Cacy (head nurse) were amazing. They were very kind and supportive, had an answer to our questions before we asked it, kept my worried wife in the loop the whole time and gave us some great advice and tips about post procedure care. The surgical nurses helping Dr Evans were very professional and much like the military, repeated every order back to assure all were followed to the letter. It was decent. Doctors were knowledgeable. They seemed a little overworked though. I stayed in the ER for over 30 hours and was in there different room 2 of which were not very private, and was still not sent into a room upstairs which was frustrating. The RN that took care of me overnight was attentive and timely. The day shift was much less attentive and didn't administer medication in a timely fashion.
Excellent experience. All staff were great and explained in understandable terms. Highly recommend
Both the doctor attending my husband , Higinio, and the RN were excellent—professional, and compassionate, even at this late hour. The young men who took the CT Scan were also courteous and attentive. Thank you so much for taking the time to make us feel comfortable and for answering our questions with patience. We continue to rate Harlingen Medical #1.
