Came before and loved my hair Tried to make an appointment with Nafi for myself and a few of my friends only to be left on READ many of times…the hair doing is on point but the communication sucks and that’s where the one star comes in Finding a new braider ASAP

ASK FOR NAFIIII!! She was recommended by my friend who gets knotless often. So I trusted her judgement. Can’t speak for the other ladies in the shop. My only complaint was the bathroom was absolutely DISGUSTING and I wind up just holding it to avoid using the dirty toilet that smelled of urine. As for my braids A1! The ladies took their time and didn’t hurt me once. The only time I said it hurt she was nice and adjusted her technique. I’m no fuss but I’m very particular about my braids. The parting/size/length. This is a no-frills salon, but don’t let that fool you. Nafi was incredibly fast, precise, and professional. She handled the entire appointment solo: braiding, managing nonstop calls for appointments, mentoring other stylists, and still staying focused and composed throughout. Honestly, my hair came out decent even though it took way longer than anticipated. The one star was for the FILTH. I noticed the roaches halfway through my visit. One even decided to make its way to my shirt! These ladies work very hard and eat through their shifts. I still don’t think that that’s enough excuse for the trash and dirty dishes on the floor. There’s no reason why I should feel this uncomfortable and anxious about bringing home rodents after spending the amount that I did. We have to do better.
