Updated July 26, 2024- house still not complete. Funny how days after my initial review he has one of his friends give a 5 star rating to help his ratings. I am reluctantly giving one star as the rating is force by Google, however, my real review would be NEGATIVE 5 stars. My mother has had a contract since April of 2021, He received money from United Way, Catholic Charities, and Homeowner to fix house from Hurricane Irma Damage. Corey has managed, however, to build (from scratch) at least 4 houses that I know of since April 2021. BUT has not completed the house for owner to move into. After months of promised payment then months of no response to texts or phone calls, my wife posted a negative review to Harland Property Development for not paying subcontractors. Magically we received a call from the owner Corey who said he would pay us on Tuesday if we took the post down. We agreed to remove the post on payment. My wife texted Corey Tuesday morning and Tuesday came and went with no payment. Subcontractors and customers beware of his contractor. The contractor dodges payment to subcontractors. If I good give zero stars I would! Contractors beware…Corey does NOT pay his sub contractors!!! I have given him many months to settle his bill with professional and courtesy but nothing!
