Save yourself the heart I endured. I usually never write reviews but when it comes to Harkins Funeral Home and My mom I’m making an exception. My mom passed away March 18,2025 after home hospice for 2 1/2 months. Sadly she died at 11:15 pm and I didn’t know who to call so knowing Harkins Funeral Home was local I had hospice call them and ask for her to be pickup. . Patricia and her team are so wonderful! Nice to have a small business serving the community.
I used Harkins because of their location without doing any research before hand . Hopefully i can save someone from going through the heartache that my family and i have had to deal with since using Harkins. If you care about your loved one that you are planning on laying to rest do not use Harkins ,you will be taken advantage of emotionally and financially. To edit as of 12/23/24 after we paid them in full today, we were threatened that we better take our reviews down within 24 hours, or he (jeff lovelidge) will "handle it". I have pictures of all 3 invoices that we were given that I am happy to share. We had to bury our son last month. To say that Patricia made the worst time of our lives even harder is an understatement. We were not consulted for anything and she bought the most expensive things.
