After hearing a professional recommendation about Dr. Hari P. Bezwada from another orthopedic surgeon, I had my first appointment with him today. I was first greeted by his PA, Phil, who discussed the condition of my knees with me in detail. After x-rays were taken, I was examined by Dr. Bezwada, who reviewed the X-rays with me, answered all my questions and described a specialized procedure that would be required for my particular surgery. Dr. Bezwada took time and explained everything that was going to happen pre and post op in laymen terms in which I understood them. Pleasant Doctor and full of knowledge.
Dr. Bezwada saved me physically from a dreadful infection and gave me hope by getting me home in a week after a 4 week stay in a NY State hospital. Once my infection was gone, he restored my hip and saved my leg from further deterioration, which renewed life for a discouraged patient. Eleven years later, my left hip was dislocated numerous times in the past few months and Dr. Bezwada performed a hip revision since the repeat episodes of dislocation were inevitable.
