I highly recommend Dr Diwakaran. He will find out what is wrong if you are having any issues & he cares about you as a person & listens to your concerns.
Things were rushed. Woman anesthesiologist refused to allow me to be with my non-verbal special needs son until his eyes closed, with a bit of propofol, as has been allowed for years with every anesthesiologist without problems and Dr Diwakarun. My son was too heavily sedated, as it took him much longer for him to awaken afterward. He has been home over 7 hours now, has no fever, napped some, but when awake has hollered and complained in a deep voice the entire time! He has never been like this after any other endoscopies. The personnel at St. Charles SSM, from the admitting to the nurses, the attendants, the anesthesiologist, and particularly Dr Diwakaran were very courteous and professional during my procedure. I highly recommend them.
I’ve always had a great experience with Dr. Diwakaran. He’s really friendly, and he once treated my grandfather. The staff are always welcoming, and I’ve always felt very comfortable with SSM.
