I tried this place out for the first time today. Best brisket I've ever had!!! Will DEFINITELY be back!!!!
Was traveling and these ribs were really nice, didn't even use the sauce lol
I know it sounds like not that big of a deal but the coleslaw I just had was perfect. So many places cut corners and use bagged mix - or add too much mayo. This place nails it. I also had a brisket sandwich and it was flavorful and priced fairly considering what beef costs these days. We will be back for more!
I recently relocated to the Cookeville area and made it a point to stop into Hardwood Smokehouse as one of my first real meals in town — and I can honestly say it set the bar for what "Southern hospitality" is supposed to mean. I ordered the clucker, and it did not disappoint.
