Recently stayed here for 4 nights for Chillout Festival. Generally well appointed, and nice spaces. However agree with other review, it is very dark inside...all the time. The dark wood interiors add to the sense of darkness, but there just aren't enough lights, and the ones there are are all low wattage. A single pendant light in the kitchen means it's very hard to do any decent cooking. All the glass wear was also dirty upon our arrival and we had to rewash everything before use. Location to town center is great however.

The house was quite large with good size bedrooms but the lighting is quite insignificant as every light is a soft light. The pantry had barely anything in it but cooking wasn’t an option because it was too dark anyway. No washing line, although good washing machine. All the beds had no mattress protectors on them. I don’t feel comfortable with the health and cleanliness of the bedding or the cleanliness of the home. I think because it’s dark they might think it doesn’t matter. It certainly matters to us.
