Since 1976, Hardwick & Sons, Inc. has been run by two of the Hardwick brothers, the eldest, William Dean and the youngest, Dean James. Hardwick’s is an amazing place. So sad it will end for Seattle in a month or so.. I just realized my family has been shopping there since almost its inception. We had houses up Roosevelt going back to about 1938, 4 Generations of MacMillan’s have shopped and poked around the isles....😪 I guess online will have to due...
visit while you can, home depot and Lowe's are not Hardware stores they are home improvement. hardwicks is a hardware and tool store
If you are a tool user, and you've never been there, once you go just stop and grab a basket on your way in 'cause you've gonna need it and you just don't know it (yet). I only examined a third of the locale and I hope to get back there v. soon.
Hardwick's brings me joy. It is hard for me to imagine my world without Hardwick's.
In the middle of a huge City, it is a fascination and fact giver. I could get lost exploring there.
