It was midnight and I had to go to the ER cause I had a really bad headache once I got to the ER waiting room and checked in there was only 12 people in the waiting room. I sat there from 12 o’clock to seven. Just waiting too be seen by a physician. All I received was some ibuprofen and sent on my way. I would’ve been better off going up to Jewish Hospital or university of Louisville

I had a terrible experience here. I went to the ED for an anxiety attack and turn out I have another serious diagnosis that I had to find out by my primary doctor. The doctor I had in the emergency room was very mean to me the entire time. I asked her why she was being mean after I just had an anxiety attack and she completely dismissed my feelings and more or less told me to get over myself. I will never come back to this emergency room. The doctor that I had needs to be fired asap before she does it again to someone else.

Came in last night with eye pain so bad I was nearly blind. Staff directed me to walk into the reception area, but when I asked for a wheelchair they just sat there. Another person in the waiting room who was a patient actually got me a wheelchair and rolled me in. After waiting for over 4 hours in excruciating pain, I was informed by the charge nurse that help was another 4 to 6 hour wait. Came in for painful breathing, dizziness, high fever and suspected flu. They stuck me in a room, did vitals and a swab. Said it would take an hour. 45 min later an NP comes in, listens to my chest and says awaiting results. Never saw my actual nurse again. No blanket, no call light, just dropped in a room. When results came back, they discharged me. No final vital check. Had me walk out of there on my own despite being dizzy and lightheaded. Literally said there is the door.

I am extremely disappointed with the care I received at Baptist Health Hardin Emergency Room. I presented with severe lower back and abdominal pain. Upon arrival, the check-in experience was unprofessional, and there was a concerning safety incident in the waiting room involving another patient bringing a knife into the facility, which required security intervention. The physician assigned to my care appeared unfamiliar with endometriosis, despite this condition and my surgical history being documented in my medical record. ... read more
