I was driving through Harden on my way back to Sydney when my Porsche decided to lose its coolant. The NRMA told me I'd have to get towed home as it couldn't be fixed here. Richard, the mechanic at Harden Tyre Service, checked out my car, did a temporary fix and got me back on the road in under an hour. He would have fixed my car totally but obviously like most workshops can't stock all parts for all types of cars. So grateful for the prompt and friendly service to get me back on the road. Yesterday I took a used 4WD tyre in to Harden Tyre Service for puncture repair. I was a bit taken back by the price of $73.00 and said so, but the price did include a new tube and balancing. Waiting time was an OK 45 minutes. Today I took a worn out 4WD tyre on a Sunraysia rim and a used but roadworthy tyre to Transtate Tyres in Belconnen and asked that the used tyre be fitted and the worn out tyre disposed of.
