Dr. Dhindsa is an outstanding physician. His skills as a retina specialist are exceptional. His bedside manner is one that every patient would appreciate. Dr. Dhindsa was well informed - been going to him for years. Saw him in March 2019 I trust him and got information on my health that I could believe in. This year saw a different Doctor that works with Dr. Dhindsa and was very pleased with her also

After poor experience with other local opthalmologist / retina specialist, I contacted HD Retina's office. The staff was very helpful and got me an appt. within na few days. Dr. Dhindsa was thorough, able to diagnose my issue, and provide a solid treatment plan.

I called Dr. Dhindsa's office 3 times and left messages 2 other times to get a quote for a specific treatment as self-pay. At the 3rd call, I was connected transferred to a very stand offish person in the billing dept. who first said she did not know what he would charge, but when I offered to give her CPT codes, she said she knew the codes and what he would charge. She quoted me a cost that was more that was 3.5 times his peers in the area and 6 times what my present provider charges. Thief!

Every aspect of care in Dr. Dhindsa's office was very good to excellent with the exception of making an appointment. On several different occasions I called to reschedule an appointment and the call back was a minimum of 3 business days which I did not expect. I had called on a Friday morning and I did not hear back until Wednesday. I was made to feel that I was at fault for the delay in rescheduling the appointment.

My review is based on the wait for an appointment. I have been on a waiting list for several weeks, made several calls and had my former doctor forward records. I was told that someone needs to review my records to determine if I am eligible to see the doctor. As my vision is getting worse, blurred, eye pain, I guess I will need to find another local doctor that may be able to see me. I am sure this doctor is one of the best, just cannot wait.

There were 20+ people waiting and we were being herded through like cattle. I waited 2 hrs past my appointment before getting in. I saw the actual Doctor 6-8 minutes. I need cataract surgery. He referred me to an OPTOMETRIST who supposedly will take over from there. Makes no sense. I'm very disappointed. I've been going here for years and this was the worst treatment ever.
