We phoned around Gladstone, our vet was unavailable. Our elderly cat, Leon, 14, was very poorly. Harbour City phoned back and said to bring him in. The vet was gentle and kind, telling my husband that they could put a drip up and see how he responded, but if he was her cat she wouldn't as his kidneys had failed. When she tried to find his blood pressure it was almost non existent. Her advice was to euthanize him. She allowed my husband to hold and be with him right until the end. I'm so grateful for the HCV team. Bec has recently helped me through end of life diagnosis with my two elderly canine loves, and Bec and Bree are helping me manage the start of the end on my severe heart disease pup. Their compassion, competence and genuine desire to help their patients is inspiring.
I am very disappointed my dog has a severe festering overpowering smell of a sever wound. They simply cant help see him nothing. I understand you get busy. But my dog is so sick from this and no one wants to help him.
Nice and welcoming, a friendly bunch that shows interest in caring for your pet in a manageable way every time (my pup is definitely a fan of the free treats)
We’re relatively new to the area and recently took our dog to Harbour City Vet — and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff were wonderfully polite and positive, and they took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. We were also very pleased that they were able to fit us in on short notice.
