Unfortunately I cannot leave a glowing review like the others. I had a very traumatic experience as a result of Dr. Clark’s quick and inaccurate diagnosis of pyro in my young lab. Dr. Clark advised emergency surgery on a Friday night. We were frantic trying to find a surgeon that night and weren’t able to do so partially due to doubt of the urgency of the diagnosis. Our miniature dachshund was exhibiting coughing symptoms, prompting us to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lauren. Dr. Lauren demonstrated exceptional thoroughness in her examination and subsequently devised a comprehensive treatment plan for Roxy. We were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service, kindness, and professionalism exhibited by Harborside. We will continue going to Harborside.
Very few vets have actually physically examined my pet. Dr. Lauren is wonderful. She explains things clearly and clearly cares. Communication was stellar. Not only did they report back with test results, they sent the actual results. My poor health elderly cat is back to his old self! He was diagnosed with feline diabetes during a pre-op blood test for tooth issues. I was offered a fairly new medication (senvelgo) and everything was explained well. Dr Lauren and the team at Harborside provide excellent, compassionate care.
I have been to many veterinary clinics in my 50 some years and Dr Lauren is by far the best. The compassion, love and care that my dogs have received is outstanding. I have been fortunate enough to be able to bring my dog to Dr Lauren for acupuncture once a month which has really helped with her many joint and mobility issues. All the staff are quite wonderful as well with a big shout out to the receptionist, Amanda; which greets you with her warm friendly demeanor and liver treats, for the dogs of course.
