I work Monday through Saturdays most weeks. This is my dogs primary vet; however, I found a vet open on Sundays. This past Sunday I took one of my dogs in for just a heartworm test. My husband and I spent over 2 hrs at Harborside for a simple rescue exam. The rabies vaccine was missing a serial/batch number on the paperwork. I contacted the rescue organization and they provided more detailed information with this batch number. I called Harborside and said I had the additional paperwork and serial number and asked if they needed the paperwork. We are greatly distressed on how Dr. Garcia at Harborside Animal Hospital handled this. Our 13 yr old American bulldog had a cyst on the side of her face. When I inquired the removal of the cyst I was given no indications or informed of complications. If I would have been made aware of any issues I would not have had it done due to her age. Dr Garcia made it all sound so simple. They have literally saved us thousands of dollars on our dogs dual TPLO surgeries and follow up x-rays. We drive all the way from Orlando because we think this is the best place to take our pup.
