We rented a boat here in March 2023. The marina is a disaster. I don't know how it hasn't been deemed an environmental hazard and condemned. I usually enjoy staying at the marina on the last night of a boat rental, but there was no way we could stay here. Found a hotel instead. The boat and rental experience were fine. The marina is beyond reproach.
Just took out a 290. Brand new motor ran like a dream. Sails worked perfectly. Dock assistance was great.
BEWARE!!!! We rented a sailboat in August 2021 to take a 5 day trip to Catalina island from Long Beach. When we arrived at the location address we found the marina to be in shambles. The docks were old and falling apart. It seemed very unsafe to even walk along the rickety wooden paths to the boat. There wasn't anyone around to greet us or even guide us to the slip of the boat we rented, but we managed to find someone from another company who told us where we would find the boat.
