My Mom moved into Assisted Living at The Harrison the beginning of 2024. A lot of residents started moving out as there were a lot of changes and the quality of service declined. Also a lot of the good staff left. But we stuck it out and as my Mom memory got worse and she needed more help and it was their recommendation to more her to the memory care side to get the assistance she needed. The Harrison of Wildwood is a beautiful place. I have made visits there and had the opportunity to eat lunch with a couple of residents and it was not only delicious, the service was great!
I have a friend that lives there and they have found mold in his home but refuse to let him switch to a new unit. They gave him a dehumidifier and thats it. Which does not protect anyone from mold. He is coughing and struggling to breathe. This is unacceptable and dangerous. Do not move in.
The Harrison of Wildwood provides excellent care! Elizabeth, Brenda, and Karla are top notch professionals who will bend over backwards to ensure that residents receive the best care and fun possible. I highly recommend this community!
I am from out of town in Naples, FL. I came up to Ocala for the Labor day weekend to stay with a friend. Close to where I was staying was the Wildwood Bark Park, a wonderful spot to take your dogs. I went there today and when I got out of my car, ended up locking my keys and my cell phone in the car with my THREE Boston Terriers. There was no one there with a cell phone so I went across the street to The Harrison of Wildwood.
