I have always feared HOA, especially high rise condos mainly because of all the rules and excessive powers very few have over all of the residents. Harbor Square is set up very similar but there is one major difference, Hilary Benefiel, this general manager is outstanding. She follows the rules and also takes a common sense approach to helping resident accomplish their goals. Ocean Views for a two bedroom under $500k in a prime location! Walking distance to all of Kakkako & Chinatown. The maintenance fee includes EVERYTHING - even Central AC & electricity! It’s hard to beat! Weekend parking is just $5/day too!!!!
Across the street from Aloha Tower and close to Kakaako area, Chinatown, Iolani Palace, and a full array of restaurants such as Whole Foods Market, Down to Earth, and more. Quick access to H-1 Freeway and Nimitz Highway, and a short trip to Ala Moana beach and Shopping Center and Waikiki.
Parking lot location and building is great. The people on the other hand could use some work. Definitely need to work on their customer service especially during COVID.
