Dog poop nazis. I am writing this on behalf of my elderly mother. I have no idea how to explain this another way. About a year and a half ago they contracted with a company that will DNA test pet waste and then charge the tenant $300. The first time they charged this it seemed like it could be feasible although she was very diligent about cleaning up after her dog. This apartment complex has a great maintenance staff and nice beach access. Unfortunately, in the 3 years we lived there, our rent increased by 25% for no additional amenities. Our apartment was very dirty upon move in, and management tried to retain the entirety of our security deposit upon move out. We are clean, responsible people that created no damage to the apartment. Fortunately, we were able to get our deposit back, but I am disappointed in the management.
My parents moved into an apartment in March of 2020 during the height of COVID. They absolutely love it. It’s been great to have family BBQ’s and have a beautiful view of the lake and beach!
